The Young Artists’ Showcase Poster

Sydnee Guglietti, soprano -Sydnee is a grade 12 student in the Arts Unionville vocal program at Unionville High School.  A winner of Stouffville’s Got Talent, she has performed for many events and continues to garner awards for her many performances.  She has performed several roles in music theater productions and continues to pay it forward towards community events.

Unionville High School Chamber Group, string ensemble - This dynamic group of students have performed numerous times at the FLATO Markham Theatre, OMFA Provincials, and various festivals within the GTA.  They are students from the Unionville High School Arts program. Their members feature Newmarket residents Jenny Liu (violin) and Holly Nye (violin) as well as Audrey Sung (violin), Angelina Sievers (viola), Madelyn Ma (cello), Vanessa Hung (cello).

Megan Lo, piano - Megan is a student of the  Phil and Eli Taylor Academy of Music in Toronto and has been a prize winner in many international competitions.  Her passion for her instrument involves her in many aspects of her instrument - collaborative pianist, a chamber musician and a soloist.  In addition to playing the piano, she is also a talented ballet dancer and plays the flute in her school band.

Top H.A.T. Trio, Piano trio - The Top H.A.T. Trio (Harrison Vandikas - piano, Angelina Sievers - viola, and Tina Siever - violins) all play both a string instrument and the piano.  Awarded the first-place winner of the 2023 OMFA Provincial Competition in the chamber group category, they have been passionate about exploring many different styles of music.  All three members of the trio are also notable soloists, garnering awards in their own instrument and have performed in many concerts within Canada.
